My Story

After watching her battle cancer for five years, I had to put my dog Champion down in 2012. It was one of the worst days of my life. I swore I would do everything I could with my next pet to avoid losing another one to cancer.

Despite my efforts, my two dogs, Ziggy and Marley, now ages 14 and 13 both still have health problems. Although this time we managed to outlive cancer, we almost lost Marley to heart failure. We were given a second chance that day and I was determined to do everything I could to support my senior dogs in their final stages of life.

With a degree in biochemistry and a career in coaching, I set out to acquire the knowledge I would need to support my two dogs who are dealing with kidney and heart disease.

Although we are still early in the journey, I have learned so much and the knowledge I acquired has helped me turn the clock back in time for my babies. They are defying the odds with their lab tests consistently showing improvement. They have more energy, they aren’t as anxious and they seem incredibly happy and spunky! Seeing them this way warms my heart.

I studied biochemistry in school to become a doctor and ultimately chose to coach women’s college basketball. My goal was always to empower and enrich the lives of others. I find myself now in a position capable of doing that in the pet community. Knowledge is useless if it isn’t shared. I want to make an impact for as many pet parents as I can with this life changing information.  I only wished someone could have given me this information sooner; I could have avoided many of the diseases, and health issues pet parents deal with today.  If I can help you in anyway, to make your pet’s life and ultimately your life more rewarding and fulfilling, I would be privileged to be a part of that.
